Today marks 15 years since the premiere of Episodes, a transatlantic comedy featuring British TV favourites Stephen Mangan (The Split) and Tamsin Greig (Friday Night Dinner) alongside former Friends actor Matt LeBlanc.

The series follows married British writers Sean and Beverly Lincoln (Mangan and Greig) as they attempt to remake their classy UK drama for American TV - only to watch it unravel under network notes, ego, and excess. Their biggest surprise comes in the form of Matt LeBlanc, playing a gloriously self-aware (and frequently dreadful) version of himself.

Running for five seasons, it remains a sharply hilarious look at the entertainment industry, and it’s well worth a watch. At present, it’s available HERE on Paramount+ (which is also the US home for all five seasons of the original UK sitcom Ghosts).

It’s especially timely with the premiere of the US version of Doc Martin last week. Curious about it? It’s called Best Medicine, and you can find it HERE.

Our latest British TV Streaming Guide (US Edition, Winter 2026) is now available.

It’s the 10th guide we’ve published, and it’s the longest one yet - with 241 pages and more than 2500 different shows you can stream in the US. Each streaming service has a section where you can read about what’s currently playing and what’s coming soon (with descriptions and original air dates). In the back, we’ve included an index so you can look up the streaming service when all you know is the name.
