Holliday Grainger & Tom Burke in “The Running Grave”

First off, a quick update on the upcoming season of CB Strike:

In the new season, “The Running Grave”, private detectives Strike and Robin get involved in one of their most disturbing cases yet - an investigation into a cult called the Universal Humanitarian Church, whose grip on its followers runs deep.

When a desperate family hires them to rescue their son, Robin goes undercover at the cult’s remote Norfolk compound while Strike works contacts on the outside. Their search leads them into a world of psychological control, twisted faith, and a chilling mystery surrounding the so-called Drowned Prophet.

Though the BBC hasn’t announced an official premiere date yet, they’ve released a couple first look images - which means we’re probably not too far off. The new season will have 5 hour-long episodes (a nice improvement from past adaptations) - and while we haven’t seen an official announcement, we would expect to see if on HBO Max in the US. You can catch up on past seasons HERE.
